Sycamore Trees- Anthracnose and Mildew Control

 Anthracnose is a fungus that affects developing shoots, expanding leaves and along the leaf veins. Damaged leaves will curl, distort and cause premature leaf drop during the growing season.

Mildew is a fungus that forms on leaf surfaces and new developing buds, shoots, and leaves. Infected growth may be dwarf, distorted and covered with white powdery growth.

Both foliage infections will defoliate trees throughout the year possibly causing “stress” to trees. A weak and stressed tree can be prone to secondary pest and or diseases.

A multiple application maintenance plan made in late Winter through Summer is suggested for optimal season long results.
